Linux下能用AMD Vega顯卡嗎
AMD Vega核心架構(gòu)顯卡終于要來(lái)了!AMD Linux驅(qū)動(dòng)團(tuán)隊(duì)今天為AMDGPU開(kāi)源顯卡驅(qū)動(dòng)發(fā)放了100多個(gè)補(bǔ)丁,從而提供對(duì)Vega的全面支持。Linux下能用AMD Vega顯卡嗎?
Vega核心基于全新的GFX9架構(gòu),這和Polaris GFX8架構(gòu)有很大不同,因此驅(qū)動(dòng)支持也要全方位更新。
據(jù)了解,Linux驅(qū)動(dòng)為Vega新架構(gòu)增加了大約4萬(wàn)行代碼,從而可以支持新的BIOS界面、硬件IP、UVD 7.0視頻解碼器、VCE 4.0視頻編碼器、RadeonSI 3D、電源管理、DC顯示輸出、SR-IOV虛擬化等等。
值得注意的是,新驅(qū)動(dòng)列出了七個(gè)不同的Vega ID(Fiji核心當(dāng)時(shí)只有兩個(gè)),自然對(duì)應(yīng)七款不同型號(hào),目測(cè)包括Radeon RX游戲卡、Radeon Pro專(zhuān)業(yè)卡、Radeon Instinct計(jì)算卡等,可謂“蜂擁而出”。
另外,新驅(qū)動(dòng)還加入了七個(gè)Polaris 12 ID,對(duì)應(yīng)著新的低端卡Radeon RX 550,但還沒(méi)有看到Vega 11核心。
